Fixed Points of Panels and Furring

The panels must be pre-drilled with fixed points (#1 - the size of the shaft of the screw), and the rest of the holes are drilled oversize (#2) to allow for expansion and contraction of the panels. Contact CBF to obtain the correct size drill bits.

X - Fixed point of steel furring to structure

When using steel furring strips it is not allowed to attach one panel to two furring strips running vertically. Because of the fixed points, when one panel does NOT span across two steel furring strips the expansion and contraction of the panels and the steel are equalized. When one panel spans across two steel furring strips, the fixed points are uneven, and these unequal pressures can destroy the panel.
