There must be a wind and water barrier behind the cladding that makes the
structure impervious to the weather and the wind. Water will penetrate our cladding so it is extremely important to
ensure that your wall is
100% waterproofed. This product should be breathable so the building is able to
breathe, and condensation from within the structure is able to escape. |

When using steel furring
you may use hat channels, z-furring, or a combination of the two. The steel must be 16 gauge, with the steel quality at a minimum of S250GD (250N/mm2 or 36,260 psi), and the steel coating at minimum of Z275g/m2. When using wood we recommend painting the lumber black with an exterior grade paint or wrapping it with the weather barrier to help protect the lumber.

Our facade cladding is secured using exposed, stainless steel, pan head
screws. The screws cannot be
countersunk because this would lock the panels
into place and our material must have the ability to
move. We also offer screws that are powder coated to match the panels.
This makes the screws much more subtle, as the screws seem to
disappear. Each box of screws comes with the correct driver. |
